How to make a Danish Braid

Whip the Philadelphia® Cream Cheese.

Add sugar and continue beating.

Incorporate flour on the surface where you will roll out the puff pastry.

Roll out the puff pastry with the help of a rolling pin.

Pour the cream cheese filling in the center of the puff pastry along the length of the table.

Place the jam on top of the cream cheese.

Make diagonal cuts 3 centimeters thick on both sides of the puff pastry, leaving a 1-centimeter space between the filling and the cut.

Fold the pieces at the ends of the braid.

Fold the strips of dough over the filling, alternating each side, until the filling is completely covered.

Beat the egg with a tablespoon of water and brush the braid. Sprinkle with sugar. Bake for 15 minutes at 180° C or until the puff pastry is golden.
