Take a handful of rice and place it on top of the rough side of the seaweed. With your hand, spread the rice evenly across the surface.

On top of the bamboo mat place a damp cloth, on top of the cloth, arrange the seaweed so that the side with rice is in contact with the cloth.

Leave one centimeter free of seaweed (on the side closest to you) and place all your filling ingredients in a row, making sure it is no wider than five centimeters.

Roll the sushi in two movements, first roll up to the middle of the seaweed, trying to wrap the filling, stop and squeeze the rice. Then roll to the end of the seaweed, remembering to squeeze the rice.

Cut the sushi using a very sharp knife. Always wet your knife with water when cutting. Start by cutting the roll in half, then cut each half into two and subsequently cut each quarter in half to obtain 8 pieces.
