How to store bacon longer

It's common for bacon to be sold in large packages, and often after opening, not all of it gets used. To prevent the bacon from going rancid or losing its flavor, it's advisable to keep it in the freezer. However, if you store it in its original packaging, you would have to defrost the entire package to use it again. Here’s my tip on how to store bacon to prevent it from spoiling.

Step by Step

1
Roll up the leftover bacon – taking 2 to 4 slices – and form a roll.
2
Place the bacon rolls in a resealable plastic bag, making sure the bag is flat in the freezer to prevent the rolls from falling apart.
3
Store it in the freezer. This way, when you want bacon, you just have to take out one roll and defrost it.
