Introduce your baby to the taste of green vegetables from an early age. Some babies find the flavor of some vegetables very strong so it is a good idea to mix them with potatoes or vegetables that do not have such strong flavors.

Ingredients

4 portions
  • 50 grams onion, 1/3 cup chopped onion
  • 1 tablespoon unsalted butter
  • 350 grams potato, (3 medium potatoes) peeled and cut into cubes
  • 1 1/2 cups Vegetables soup, or water
  • 100 grams broccoli, cut into florets (1/2 cup)
  • 150 grams frozen pea, (2/3 cup)

Preparation

In a pan, cook the onion with the butter until it is soft for 4-5 minutes.
Add the potatoes and pour the chicken broth or water, cover and cook until it boils for 10 minutes.
Add the broccoli and cook for 3 more minutes.
Add the peas and cook for 3 additional minutes.
Add the whole mixture in a food processor until you obtain a smooth puree.
