Preparation
Boil 2 1/2 cm of water in a pot. Place the plums in an adjustable basket to steam, cover the pot and let them cook for about 3 minutes, depending on their maturity, until they soften but do not fall apart.
Chop the plums with a fork. Discard the skins and bones. Let it cool.
Grind in a food processor until you obtain a smooth puree. You will not need to add additional liquid.
Sweeten with honey to your baby's taste and reserve.
Add the amaranth with a little water, cover it with nothing else. Close the Express® Pressure Cooker and put the pressure regulator on it, place it on the stove with a high flame, when the steam goes out, reduce the flame to medium and cook for 10 minutes.
Remove the Express® Pressure Cooker from the heat, let cool, remove the pressure regulator, open the Express® Pressure Cooker, and that's it!
The amaranth will be transparent, thick and sticky. Mix 1/4 or 1/2 cup of the plum porridge with the amaranth and reserve the leftover for another use.
