The first baby's porridge should make sure that the carrots are well cooked so that it has a smooth consistency. You will love the sweet taste of carrots and are rich in beta-carotene.

Ingredients

4 portions
  • 4 carrots

Preparation

Wash and peel the carrots.
Cut into equal pieces and place in a pan with enough water to only cover the carrots.
Cover and cook 15-20 minutes until tender
Mix until you get a smooth puree using a bit of the water where you cooked the carrots. The consistency depends on the difficulty of your baby swallowing
Serve only a few spoonfuls on a saucer. Serve warm.

TIPS

darker and "old" carrots have much more beta-carotene than baby carrots.
