Sponge cake with a slightly crunchy touch and an intense banana flavor. There will be no corner of the house that escapes the sweet and intoxicating aroma of this sponge cake fresh out of the oven. You have to try it! Fast, simple, deliciously addict

Ingredients

10 portions
  • 3 bananas, large and mature
  • 1 egg, well beaten
  • 1 cup sugar, approximately 220 grams
  • 3 tablespoons butter, melted, approximately 42 grams
  • 2 cups flour, 250 grams approximately
  • 1 teaspoon yeast
  • 1/2 teaspoons salt

Preparation

In a bowl, mash the bananas well with a fork until it acquires a consistency similar to puree (there may be some pieces left).
Beat the egg well and mix with the banana.
Add the sugar and stir well until it is well integrated.
Melt the butter and add to the mixture, stir well.
In another bowl sift the flour, yeast and salt.
Add the sifted to the banana mixture and mix well.
Fill a mold (previously greased) and bake at 180ºC for 35-40 minutes.
Insert a toothpick in the center of the cake and if it comes out clean it is ready.
Allow to cool completely before unmolding.

TIPS

After the first 20-25 minutes of baking, check the oven well as the baking time varies from one oven to another. As soon as we see that it is golden on top, we do the stick test and we will know how to calculate how much more time is left
