A very rich and original recipe for the classic clotted cream biscuits. They are a very simple dessert to prepare perfect to accompany with your favorite drink; like coffee, milk, hot chocolate or atole. You choose.

Ingredients

8 portions
  • 1 1/4 cups cream, thick
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 can condensed milk
  • 4 1/2 cups wheat flour
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons vanilla essence
  • 2 1/2 tablespoons baking soda

Preparation

Beat the condensed milk with the cream, vanilla and eggs.
While stirring, add flour and baking powder little by little, until a homogeneous cookie dough is obtained.
Flour a surface, and with a rolling pin, stretch the dough to leave it 1 cm thick.
With a round cutter, remove the pieces and cook the biscuits in a hot comal over low heat until they are cooked and lightly browned on both sides.

PRESENTATION

Use cutter in the form of figures to draw children's attention.

TIPS

They can be spread with jam, cajeta or chocolate.
