Ingredients

4 portions
  • 2 1/4 cups Great Value® Wheat Flour
  • 1/4 cups Great Value® Sugar
  • 1 tablespoon dry yeast
  • 1/2 oranges, zest
  • 1 lemon, zest
  • 50 grams butter
  • 5 grams Salt Great Value®
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 tablespoons Great Value® Milk
  • 1 tablespoon Great Value® Oil, to grease
  • 2 tablespoons Great Value® Wheat Flour, for the guests
  • 1 egg, to varnish
  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted to varnish
  • 1/2 cups Great Value® Sugar, to sprinkle

Preparation

Preheat the oven to 170 ° C.
Mix the flour with sugar, yeast, zest and butter in the blender with the hook.
Add the salt, the egg and the milk little by little, continue beating until integrated.
Beat about 10 minutes or until you get a homogeneous and elastic dough.
Place the dough in a bowl with a little oil and cover. Let ferment (25 to 35 ° C) until doubled in size.
To form the bones, mix a small portion of dough with the 2 tbsp of flour, until you have a more sandy dough. Reservation.
Punch the dough and form the loaves by making balls and decorating with the bones. Paste the decoration with a little water.
Place the breads in a greased baking sheet and ferment again (25 to 35 ° C) until they double in size.
Varnish with egg and bake the loaves for 25 to 35 minutes or until cooked. Cool
Varnish the breads with the melted butter and sprinkle with the sugar. It serves.
