Ingredients

  • 250 grams wheat flour
  • 100 grams butter
  • 100 milliliters Water
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 kilo chicken breast, cooked and diced
  • 1 cup dried fruit, chopped (blueberries, nuts, raisins, pineapples, peaches, apples, etc.),
  • 1 cup cream
  • 1 pinch salt, and pepper

Preparation

Filling procedure: Sauté the chicken in oil, add the chopped nuts to the cooking, add the cream and cook for five minutes, season with salt and pepper. Once it was mixed well, we reserved the filling.
Mix all the dry ingredients of the dough and stir, add 100 ml of water and knead. We form a ball with the dough and let it rest for 15 minutes. Sprinkle flour on the work bench and stretch the dough on both sides, once it is stretched, cut in circles with a mold, fill the circles of the previously prepared filling, and close so that they are in the form of empanadas, sealed with a fork the edge of the empanada, chop with a fork in the center of the empanada to remove the air and do not open the empanada, place in a previously oiled tray and put it in the oven previously heated to 180 degrees. After 25 minutes of cooking, remove from the oven. Wait for them to cool a bit and enjoy.

PRESENTATION
