Chocolate Tricolor Pancake

A homemade pancake is perfect to spoil the whole family. This sweet bread recipe is very simple and the result is also very nice, because it looks like a pancake with three different colors and flavors. To achieve the definition of tricolor, take care that the mixes have different consistencies, so that they are well divided in the baking.

Ingredients

8 portions
  • 4 tablespoons cornstarch, for the pancake
  • 4 cups wheat flour, for the pancake
  • 4 teaspoons baking soda, for the pancake
  • 2 cups sugar, for the pancake
  • 4 eggs, for the pancake
  • 2 cups sour cream, for the pancake
  • 1 cup vegetal oil, for the pancake
  • 4 tablespoons vanilla essence, for the pancake
  • 1 pinch salt, for the pancake
  • 1/4 cups cocoa, for the light chocolate mix
  • 1 cup dark chocolate, for the dark chocolate mix
  • 1/4 cups cocoa, for the dark chocolate mix

Preparation

In a bowl, mix the ingredients of the pancake until you get a homogeneous mixture. Then separate the mixture into 3 different bowls and reserve.
To the first bowl leave it natural, so that it is vanilla; in the second sprinkle the cocoa; in the last, dark chocolate and cocoa. Mix all three until the ingredients are integrated and reserve.
In a greased and floured pancake pan, pour the 3 mixtures in the corresponding order. Bake for 50 minutes or until cooked. Unmold and cool.
Cut and enjoy.

PRESENTATION

Decorate with the bitumen and the dark chocolate ganache.

TIPS

It is important that the mixtures have different consistencies. The darkest chocolate should be the thickest and the vanilla, the lightest, so you will be able to divide them well in the oven and do not mix.
