Preparation
Wash the potatoes, remove the skin and boil in water, until tender. Drain and press the potatoes together with a good part of the butter and salt.
Sift the flour little by little into the potatoes until it forms a smooth paste. The exact amount of flour depends on the moisture content of the potatoes, so here you have to calculate your own criteria, just try to keep adding flour until the dough is smooth and not sticky.
Stretch the dough on a floured surface in the shape of a box, 1/2 to 1 cm thick. Use extra flour to sprinkle while rolling and cutting if necessary. We shape the edges and cut into boxes. It will look rustic, just as we want it.
Place the boxes in a large skillet over high heat, we do not need to add oil or butter. Reduce the heat after a few minutes and cook until the bread begins to brown. We spread a little butter on the bread, once cooked.
