Chocolate Berlines

This recipe is perfect for a day if it's cold; eat some warm berlines in the night or breakfast. They are simply delicious and the best companion for your favorite hot beverage.

Ingredients

  • 1 kilo of flour
  • 100 grams of margarine
  • 2 pieces of egg
  • 50 grams of milk powder
  • 400 milliliters of Water
  • 30 grams of yeast cool
  • 15 grams of dry yeast
  • 5 grams of Salt
  • 80 grams of sugar
  • 5 milliliters of vanilla
  • 1 liter of oil to fry
  • to taste of custard cream to fill
  • to taste of sugar and cinnamon, to sprinkle

    Preparation

    Add the flour to the bowl of the blender .
    Mix 1 minute at low speed to oxygenate the flour.
    Add the dry ingredients.
    Add water, eggs and fat.
    Start kneading at high speed and add fresh yeast.
    Knead for 8 to 10 minutes until a soft, elastic dough is achieved.
    Cut and roll pieces of 80 grs.
    Let it rest on cloths or floured cloth, or cover with plastic for 15 min.
    Slightly crush the surface and leave to ferment for 30 min. Approx in fermenter chamber or cover with plastic.
    5 min before frying, remove from the chamber or the plastic so that a small crust forms.
    Fry at 180 ° C for about 3 minutes per side.
    Cool, cut almost in half with scissors or serrated knife and fill with custard or marmalade and / or sprinkle with sugar on the surface.
