This recipe for homemade hotcakes carries grated carrots (as in a carrot cake).

Ingredients

4 servings
  • 1 1/4 cups of flour
  • 2 spoonfuls of baking powder
  • 1 tablespoon of cinnamon
  • 1/4 of tablespoon of Salt
  • 1/4 of tablespoon of nutmeg
  • 1/4 of Cup of brown sugar
  • 3/4 of Cup of whole milk
  • 1 1/2 spoonfuls of vanilla essence
  • 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil
  • 2 pieces of egg
  • 2 cups of carrot grated
  • 3 spoonfuls of Butter
  • 2 spoonfuls of honey

    Preparation

    Mix flour, baking powder, cinnamon, salt, and nutmeg in a bowl.
    In another deep bowl, mix 1/4 cup of the brown sugar with the eggs, milk, vanilla and oil. Pour this mixture with the flour mixture and mix with a balloon whisk. Add the carrot and mix a little more.
    Heat a large skillet and grease with cooking spray. With a spoon to serve soup place a portion (1/4 cup) in the pan and cook for 2 minutes or until you have many bubbles, turn and cook for 1 minute more.
    Repeat this with all the dough. Keep the hotcakes hot while you finish doing the rest.
    On the other hand, mix the butter with the honey and accompany the hotcakes with this rich mixture.

    TIPS

    You can also accompany this breakfast of whipped cream and chopped walnut.

    Hola Sandy, mil gracias por tu comentario, estos hot cakes son una versión saludable te invitamos a que le agregues nueces picadas y de esta forma la textura cambiara. Saludos :d

    Ya preparé estos hotcakes de zanahoria Tiene un sabor muy peculiar, a zanahoria a medio cocer, ni crujiente ni cocida. Encima les puse mermelada para aminorar ese sabor.  No fue suficiente, así es que...por nutritiva me los comí, pero no los vuelvo a preparar jajajaajjaja

    Ricas y saludables Quedan espectaculares y más saludables si le cambias las porciones de harina por avena y solo empleas 2cdas de harina de trigo.

    Felicidades Diana en casa quedaron deiciosos y las niñas los adoraron con forma de Mickey Mouse Podría haber una opción para separar los ingredientes por ejemplo separar lo de la miel especial que se sugiere con mantequilla. Pero supongo que es una limitan te de la aplicación y no de la redacción de Diana.
