Ingredients

2 servings
  • slices of wholemeal bread thick
  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 of Cup of milk
  • cinnamon or yellow pepper
  • 1/4 of Cup of sugar
  • 4 bananas mature
  • 1/4 of Cup of ricotta cheese
  • 1/4 of Cup of whipped cream
  • Maple syrup
  • 4 spoonfuls of Butter
  • 1/2 tablespoon of vanilla

    Preparation

    In a deep bowl beat the egg with the milk.
    In another deep bowl, mix the canéla and the sugar.
    Prepare a large skillet and melt the butter over low heat.
    Dip each piece of bread in the egg and then dip it in the canéla with sugar, immediately go to the pan with butter. Cook each slice until lightly browned on each side.
    Place the French bread on a plate with a paper towel while you cook your stuffing.
    In a food processor mix the banana with the ricotta cheese. Then add 4 tablespoons of the mixture of canéla and sugar (you can add more to taste) and vanilla and mix well.
    Take the slices of bread and place the banana filling on 2 of them. Place on them the other 2 slices of bread forming a sandwich.
    Return the bread to the pan over medium heat and cook only to lightly heat the filling.

    PRESENTATION

    Serve French bread on a plate accompanied by whipped cream and honey maple. You can decorate the dish by sprinkling with cinnamon.
