Classic Hot Cakes with Red Fruits

Ingredients

6 servings
  • 1 1/2 cups of wheat flours
  • 3 spoonfuls of refined sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoonful of baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoonful of baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoonful of Salt
  • 3/4 of Cup of milk
  • 1 piece of egg
  • 1 tablespoon of vanilla
  • enough of Butter to cook the hot cakes
  • 2 cups of whipped cream to decorate
  • 1/4 of Cup of Strawberry to decorate
  • 1/4 of Cup of blackberry to decorate
  • 1/4 of Cup of raspberry to decorate
  • to taste of Maple syrup at your service

    Preparation

    In a bowl mix wheat flour with sugar, baking soda, baking powder, salt, milk, egg and vanilla. Beat until integrate and have a homogeneous mixture.
    Heat a skillet over medium heat with the butter, with a ladle form hot cakes, turn until it has bubbles and brown.
    Place the hotcakes on top of each other, decorate with whipped cream, red fruits and maple syrup.

    PRESENTATION

    Serve the hot cakes with whipped cream and red berries, accompanied with maple syrup.

    TIPS

    Add more milk to the mixture if necessary, to obtain a semi-liquid consistency.
