Beat eggs with sugar and melted butter. Make sure the butter is at room temperature.
Add the vanilla and milk. Pass the flour, salt and baking powder through a colander and add to the mixture.
Beat until there are no lumps. You should have a slightly thick mixture.
Heat a frying pan and top it with a little butter. If you want to reduce the fat content you can use vegetable oil spray.
Add two tablespoons of the hotcakes mixture to the center of the pan and with the help of a spoon spread the mixture to form a triangle. Let cook for 2 minutes or until bubbles pop out on the surface.
Turn the hotcake and let cook for another 2 minutes. Repeat this process with the rest of the mixture.
Cut the banana into slices. Place the triangle-shaped hotcakes on a plate and arrange the banana slices on the top. Pour the chocolate syrup over the hotcakes to form the cone rhombuses. You can replace the chocolate syrup with melted chocolate in the microwave.
