These spongy and delicious Japanese hot cakes will be the best choice for breakfast with its exquisite butter flavor, accompanied by maple syrup and berries you will surely not be able to resist.

Ingredients

6 servings
  • 1 Cup of flour
  • 1 tablespoon of sugar
  • 1 1/2 spoonfuls of baking powder
  • 1/4 of tablespoon of baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoonful of Salt
  • 1 3/4 cups of Butter melted
  • 1 piece of egg
  • enough of Butter to cook the hot cakes
  • 1/4 of Cup of blueberry to decorate
  • 1/4 of Cup of raspberry to decorate
  • 1/4 of Cup of blackberry to decorate
  • to taste of chantilly cream to decorate
  • to taste of Maple syrup

    Preparation

    In a bowl add the dry ingredients, flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, salt.
    Add the melted butter, the egg and mix until integrated.
    On a skillet over medium heat add butter and pour the hot cakes mixture, cook for 3 minutes and turn over, cook for 2 more minutes. They must be very fluffy.
    Serve with fruit, chantilly cream and maple syrup.

    PRESENTATION

    On an extended plate accompanied by maple syrup and a glass of milk.

    TIPS

    If necessary add more melted butter or a little milk to the mixture to obtain a semi-liquid consistency.
