Indulge your family with these rich, fluffy and original velvet red hotcakes. They are delicious and perfect to start the morning. It has the delicious red velvet cake flavor but in the form of hotcakes, what better to eat dessert at breakfast.

Ingredients

8 servings
  • 2 cups of Whole Milk Santa Clara®
  • 2 cups of flour
  • 3 spoonfuls of cocoa
  • 2 teaspoons of baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoonful of baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoonful of Salt
  • 2 spoonfuls of Apple vinager
  • 1/2 Cup of sugar
  • 2 pieces of egg
  • 1 1/2 spoonfuls of red food dye
  • 2 teaspoons of vanilla
  • 1/3 of Cup of unsalted butter melted
  • strawberries washed and disinfected
  • raspberries
  • mints washed and disinfected
  • 170 grams of cream cheese for the glaze
  • 3 spoonfuls of Butter at room temperature
  • 2 cups of powder sugar
  • 1/2 Cup of Whole Milk Santa Clara®
  • 1/2 teaspoonful of vanilla

    Preparation

    In the blender combine the flour together with the cocoa, the baking powder, the baking soda and the salt. Add the vinegar to the Santa Clara® Whole Milk and let stand for 5 minutes.
    Add to Santa Clara® Whole Milk eggs, sugar, melted butter, vanilla and red coloring. Beat until everything is well incorporated
    Slowly integrate the dry ingredients with the wet ones. Grease a hot pan with butter and pour ¼ cup of the previous mixture.
    Flip the hotcake when bubbles come out of the side. Repeat this process with the rest of the mixture.
    Soften the cream cheese with the butter and add the glass sugar little by little. Beat and add Santa Clara® Whole Milk and vanilla.
    Pour a little of the cream cheese frosting over the hotcakes. Decorate with some red fruits and mint leaves.

    TIPS

    If you want you can omit the coloring or paint the mixture of the color you like.
