Lasagna de Tortilla with Cream of Elote Herdez

A delicious suggestion, easy and quick for when you receive unexpected visits, you will love it and the best thing is that you do not need to spend much for this delicious dish.

  • 1 can cream of sweet corn, Herdez
  • 12 corn tortillas
  • 1/4 cups corn oil
  • 1 boneless chicken breast, cooked and shucked
  • 1/2 onions
  • 1 teaspoon garlic, powdered
  • 100 grams Manchego cheese, grated


Cook the chicken in a pot with enough water, a piece of onion, garlic and salt. Meanwhile, in a pan put a little oil and when it is hot but not too we are passing one by one the tortillas until they are fried, place in an absorbent napkin to drain the oil.
The cheese is grated and when the chicken is cooked, it is unraveled. In a mold pour the Herdez corn cream and add 1/2 can of milk so it does not get too liquid. In each dish place 1 tortilla and with a spatula you put a bit of HERDEZ corn cream, then shredded chicken, grated cheese, a little Herdez corn cream and finish with an omelette. Repeat the previous steps until placing 3 tortillas.
In the last tortilla you put enough HERDEZ corn cream to bathe all the lasagna and on top you put some of the grated cheese on top.


Accompany with an agua de horchata or jamaica.
