Ingredients

3 portions
  • 1 cup pancake flour
  • 3/4 cups milk, (mass of hot cakes)
  • 1 egg, (mass of hot cakes)
  • 1 tablespoon butter, (mass of hot cakes)
  • 1 apple
  • fruits, to make the face

Preparation

Blend all the ingredients of the hotcakes dough and reserve.
Peel and cut thin slices of apple
Put a pan (I use a small circular one) on very low heat and drop a little bit of mixture in order to create a thin layer.
Immediately arrange slices of apples on top of the raw dough and place another bit of hotcakes on top.
Cook perfectly on both sides and reserve until the mixture is finished, they must yield 6 to 8 pieces.

PRESENTATION

On a plate place a hotcakes or two and with fruits draw a face.

TIPS

Instead of apple you could place some other fruit of your choice. By having fruit in the middle the hotcakes are already sweet enough so you do not need to put any other type of jam or sweet on top, this will help the children not consume
