A mint and lemon smoothie is a refreshing drink ideal for a hot day. Peppermint adds a special touch to your drink.

Ingredients

2 portions
  • 8 mint leaves
  • 2 teaspoons lemon juice
  • lemon zest
  • sugar, to taste
  • ice
  • 1/2 cups Water

Preparation

Put the mint leaves with lemon zest and water in a pot.
As soon as it begins to boil, turn off the fire.
Strain and wait for it to cool.
Blend all the ingredients except the lemon juice. At the end of the preparation add the lemon juice liquefies for 10 seconds and serve.
