Try a different dessert this summer with this original and creamy recipe to make a Neapolitan sandwich with the 3 classic flavors: chocolate, vanilla and strawberry. This Neapolitan sandwich has two chocolate cookies as tapas and is filled with delicious creamy Neapolitan flavor jelly. Ingredients

6 portions
  • 2 1/2 cups flour, (300 g) for the chocolate cookie
  • 1 cup butter, (125 g) for the chocolate cookie
  • 3/4 cups powdered sugar, (85 g) for the chocolate cookie
  • 2 tablespoons cocoa powder, (30 g) for the chocolate cookie
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 3/4 cups D´Gari® chocolate flavor syrup, (187 ml) for the chocolate cookie
  • 2 cups milk, (500 ml) for strawberry gelatin
  • 2 envelopes D´Gari® unflavored powdered gelatin, (14 g) hydrated, for strawberry gelatin
  • 1 cup D´Gari® strawberry flavor syrup, (250 ml) for strawberry gelatin
  • 2 cups milk, (500 ml) for vanilla gelatin
  • 2 envelopes D´Gari® unflavored powdered gelatin, (14 g) hydrated, for vanilla gelatin
  • 1 cup D´Gari® vanilla flavor syrup, (250ml) for vanilla gelatin

Preparation

For the chocolate cookie, mix the flour with the butter, icing sugar, cocoa powder, egg yolk, D´Gari® chocolate flavor syrup, and beat on medium speed until you have a cookie dough. Refrigerate and reserve.
On a clean surface, spread the cookie dough approximately 5mm thick. Cut 10 x 10 cm squares and place on a baking sheet with waxed paper; With the help of a skewer stick, mark the cookie to give it an ice cream cookie finish; Bake 20 minutes at 180 ° C. Reserve and let cool.
For the strawberry gelatin, heat the milk over medium heat, add the D'Gari® grenetine powder hydrated and D'Gari® strawberry flavor syrup, mix until incorporated.
Pour the gelatin into a rectangular mold and refrigerate until set. Reservation.
For the vanilla gelatin, heat the milk over medium heat, add the D'Gari® grenetine powder hydrated and D'Gari® vanilla flavor syrup, mix until incorporated. Let it cool. Pour over the strawberry jelly, refrigerate until set.
Unmold the gelatin and cut cubes the size of the chocolate cookie and make a sandwich.
Place on a platter and enjoy.

TIPS

It is important that before pouring the vanilla jelly on the strawberry jelly, let it cool so that it does not dissolve.
