This is a very good cake for diabetics and it is delicious, I like to prepare it because it can be eaten with confidence.

Ingredients

12 servings
  • 12 pieces of egg white at room temperature
  • 1/4 of teaspoonful of sea ​​salt fine
  • 1 2/4 teaspoons of cream of tartar
  • 1 teaspoonful of vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoonful of lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon of lemon zest and a little more to decorate
  • 1 1/2 cups of powder sugar (sifted)
  • 1 Cup of flour (sifted)

    Preparation

    In a large bowl, mix egg whites, salt and cream of tartar. Using an electric mixer , beat at medium speed until bubbly. Add vanilla extract, lemon juice and lemon zest. Beat at high speed until soft peaks form, about 2 to 4 minutes. Gradually add the sugar and beat until the mixture forms stiff peaks.
    Sprinkle the flour over the egg white mixture. Using a spatula, focus on the flour until it is incorporated.
    Pour the mixture into a mold for non-stick thread and place in the preheated oven at 160 ° C for 35 minutes or until you insert a toothpick and come out clean.
    Unmold and let cool for 40 minutes.

    En qué momento se usa el azúcar glass ? Es para espolvorear el pan ! O se mezcla con la harina ... gracias

    muy bueno pero deberías explicar primero que para diabéticos deberías usar edulcorante porque la azúcar glass también es azúcar.
