Banana Pound cake with White Chocolate Frosting

Prepare this soft, delicious and sweet banana pound cake with chocolate chips, the delicate touch of the nut, covered with a creamy cream cheese frosting and white chocolate. This spectacular pound cake will make your whole family fall in love.

  • 4 bananas, ripe
  • 1 cup butter, 180 g
  • 1 cup raw sugar, half for the banana and the other half for the pound cake
  • 1/2 cups refined sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 tablespoons vanilla essence
  • 3 cups flour, sifted
  • 2 tablespoons baking soda, 10 g, sifted
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda, 5 g, sifted
  • 1 teaspoon salt, 5 g
  • 1 cup chocolate chip, 150 g
  • 1/2 cups whipping cream, hot, for the frosting
  • 2 cups White chocolate, in pieces, for the frosting
  • 3 tablespoons butter, for the frosting
  • 1 cup cream cheese, cut into little cubes, for frosting
  • 1/4 cups powdered sugar, for frosting
  • to taste walnut, finely chopped, to decorate


Preheat the oven to 180°C ( 356°F)
In a bowl, mash the banana with half of the mashed sugar until obtaining a puree.
For the pound cake, beat the butter until it is creamy, add the rest of the Moscavado sugar and the refined sugar, beat 3 minutes. Add the eggs one by one, the essence of vanilla, the crushed banana, incorporates the sifted powders and chocolate chips.
Pour the mixture into a previously greased and floured pound cake mold, bake for 45 minutes or until done, remove from oven and cool.
For the frosting, mix the whipping cream hot with white chocolate to form a ganache, refrigerate until it is thick.
In the blender, add the butter with the cream cheese, and beat 2 minutes or until it gets soft. Add the mixture of cold white chocolate and the powdered sugar, beat with the globe until it doubles its volume. Refrigerate until use.
Cover the cake with the white chocolate frosting, decorate with finely chopped pecans and enjoy.


Decorate with frosting and pecans.


The more ripe the bananas are, the more flavor and the sweeter your pound cake will be. It is important that you mash the banana well with the sugar to extract all the water and add moisture to the mixture.

No la recomiendo para NADA. El panqué sale muy bonito en la imagen pero sabe solo a bicarbonato y polvo para hornear. Hice las cantidades lo más precisas posibles porque ya me pasó lo mismo con otra receta de panqué de esta página y me encuentro que la vista es bonita pero el sabor es como metal
