You never thought you could make homemade cajeta, but here we leave you an easy and rich recipe. The best consistency and above all, the best flavor. Perfect to accompany with what you like.

Ingredients

8 portions
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 90 grams butter, without salt
  • 3 cups Lala® evaporated milk
  • 1 cup Lala® half and half cream
  • 1 teaspoon liquid vanilla

Preparation

Melt the sugar in a medium pot over medium heat until you get a blond caramel. Add butter and mix with wooden shovel
Add the LALA® Evaporated Milk with the LALA® Half Cream and the vanilla, mix and cook for 20 minutes on low heat moving constantly to avoid burning.
Let cool and empty in a bowl. Refrigerate
