Ingredients

10 portions
  • 6 eggs, for the apple pie
  • 125 grams sugar, for the apple pie
  • 125 milliliters canola oil, or similar, for the apple pie
  • 250 grams wheat flour, for the apple pie
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda, for the apple pie
  • 1 tablespoon baking soda, for the apple pie
  • 1 tablespoon ground ginger , for the apple pie
  • 1 tablespoon cinnamon powder, for the apple pie
  • 1/2 teaspoons ground clove, for the apple pie
  • 1/2 teaspoons nutmeg, for the apple pie
  • 1 pinch salt, for the apple pie
  • 450 grams apple, chihuahua or similar (sweet) for the apple pie
  • 1/2 cups cranberry , for the apple pie
  • 1 can condensed milk, for flan
  • 6 eggs, for flan
  • 2 tablespoons cajeta - Mexican carmelized goat milk sweet , for flan
  • 3 tablespoons cajeta - Mexican carmelized goat milk sweet , or liquid candy, for the base of the mold

Preparation

To make the cake:
Sift and set aside: flour, baking soda, baking powder, ginger, cinnamon, cloves, nutmeg, pinch of salt.
Remove the heart from the apple, and with peel finely chop, if you have a processor chop it in it, do not grind it.
Beat the eggs in the blender , add the sugar and oil little by little, stir about 5 minutes to sponge.
Incorporate the flour with a spatula and finally the apple and blueberries, reserve this paste to assemble in the mold.
Make the custard: For the custard in the blender add all the ingredients of the custard and liquefy them, reserve to assemble in the mold.
Armed for cooking: at the base of the mold put a layer of cajeta or caramel.
Add the apple paste and finally the flan liquid.
Bake in a bain-marie for 45 minutes at 180 degrees centigrade.
Let it cool completely.
Unmold and bathe with the candy from the bottom of the mold.

PRESENTATION

It can be presented to the full table or in individual portions.

TIPS

This dessert is richer if it is left to cool in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours.
