Delicious cake with a very original and delicious flavor to mamey. It is highly recommended to celebrate any occasion.

Ingredients

20 portions
  • 200 grams butter
  • 18 grams sugar
  • 7 eggs
  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 cup mamey, in pictures
  • 3/4 cups evaporated milk
  • 1 pinch salt

Preparation

Grind the mamey with the milk in the blender.
Beat the butter with the sugar (about 3 minutes).
Add the 7 yolks one by one. Beat another 3 minutes.
Add the ground mamey and beat 2 more minutes.
Add the sifted flour little by little with the baking powder and the salt in an enveloping form.
Finally, add the beaten whites to the snowy point in enveloping form.
Empty the mold. pre-heat the oven and bake at 180 degrees, about 50 to 60 minutes, until a toothpick comes out clean.
Let cool for 10 minutes and unmold. Garnish to taste.

PRESENTATION

In this case put a baking sheet and on top of the mold, it may take 10 minutes more but it looks great.

TIPS

If baked in a silicone mold, the result is better.
