Pumpkin Cake with Amaretto Santa Clara ® Ice Cream

Ingredients

4 portions
  • to taste ice cream, of Amaretto with Almonds Santa Clara®
  • 1 3/4 cups wheat flour
  • 1 stick unsalted butter
  • 1/4 teaspoons salt
  • 1 teaspoon nutmeg powder
  • 1 1/2 cups sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 cup pumpkin puree
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla essence
  • 2 teaspoons baking soda
  • 1/2 cups unsalted butter, at room temperature
  • 1/2 cups powdered sugar
  • 2 tablespoons Maple syrup
  • 2 tablespoons milk
  • 1/2 teaspoons vanilla essence

Preparation

Sift flour, baking powder and baking soda in a bowl. Add cinnamon, nutmeg and salt.
Acremer the butter bar in the blender, then add the sugar and continue whisking.
Break 3 eggs inside the blender, and pour the vanilla essence.
Gradually add the dry ingredients while continuing to beat.
Finally add the pumpkin puree, continue mixing until a heavy mixture is obtained.
Spray oil spray or grease a mold with butter and a little flour.
Pour the mixture into the mold, hit to get the air out of the cake.
Bake at 180 ° C for 30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out dry.
For frosting or maple glaze: Melt the butter in a pot.
Place the icing sugar in a bowl with the milk, the honey maple and the vanilla essence. Beat until you get a frosting.
Integrate the warm melted butter without stopping to move.
Cut out circles of the cake with the help of a cookie cutter. Stack them in tower by spreading bitumen between the layers.
Finish with a ball of amaretto ice cream and almonds in the center of the cake.

PRESENTATION

Serve when hot with the maple frosting and ice cream on top.

TIPS

Buy the canned pumpkin puree.
