This carrot cake is a delicious and simple dessert to prepare.   • 4 cups of flour sifted, for carrot cake
  • 3 teaspoons of baking soda for the carrot cake
  • 3 teaspoons of baking soda for the carrot cake
  • 3 teaspoons of cinnamon powder for the carrot cake
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons of salt for the carrot cake
  • 1 1/2 cups of powder sugar for the carrot cake
  • 1/2 cup of milk for the carrot cake
  • 1 cup of natural yogurt for the carrot cake
  • 6 eggs for the carrot cake
  • 2 cups of carrot grated, for carrot cake
  • 3/4 of cup of walnut chopped, for carrot cake
  • 1 cup of butter for the bitumen
  • 2 cups of cream cheese for the bitumen
  • 3 cups of powder sugar for the bitumen
  • 2 tablespoons of lemon juice for the bitumen
  • 1 tablespoon of lemon zest for the bitumen
  • enough of walnut to decorate


Preheat the oven to 180 ° C and grease and flour the refractory. Reservation.
In a blender, add the flour, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon powder, salt and glass sugar. While moving, add milk, natural yogurt and eggs one by one until integrated. Finally, add the carrot and nut, and beat lightly for 5 more minutes. Reservation.
Pour the mixture into the square refractory, bake for 30 minutes or until a toothpick is inserted, it comes out clean.
For the bitumen, beat the butter until it is added, add the cream cheese, the sugar, the lemon juice and the zest while continuing to move, until a smooth mixture is obtained. Reserve a bit of bitumen and paint a part of green and the other orange.
Unmold the cake and on a board, cut the cake in half. Then fill with the bitumen.
Cover with more bitumen, decorate with carrots, walnuts and enjoy.


Garnish with carrots and nuts.


You can substitute the bitumen lemon for orange or any other citrus.

Yo lo hice con harina integral, pero me salió un poco duro. Me gustaría saber porqué? A todos les gustó. Pero yo esperaba que estuviera más suave!

Tiene muuucho huevo y dejó un olor muy fuerte en la masa, para la próxima lo haré con 4 huevos. Soy amante de la zanahoria así que cambiaría 2 tazas por 3. Las 3 cucharadas de bicarbonato le dejó un sabor raro, no sé si sería mejor con 1 y media.

Riquísima receta, gracias. Solo que en el vídeo dice 3 tazas de harina y en la redacción dice que 4 tazas. (yo lo hice con 3) El mio quedó en 50 min al horno. Saludos.
