  • 3 chocolates, in the form of small circles
  • 5 chocolates, chewable (caramel) 1 inch diameter
  • 1 teaspoon corn syrup
  • 30 grams brown sugar, silver color
  • frosting, black color

Preparation

Preheat the oven to 175 ° C. Grease a mold with aerial oil.
Make the mixture for the cake following the package instructions. Empty the mixture in the mold and bake for the indicated time. Let the cake cool for 10 minutes in the mold and unmold. Allow to cool completely for 1 hour.
With a serrated knife, cut the square corners of the cake making an oval shape like a minion.
Empty half a can of vanilla bitumen in a bowl and add the yellow artificial dye to mix well and put on the cold cake a thin layer of yellow bitumen. Refrigerate for 30 minutes.
Remove from the refrigerator and put another layer of yellow bitumen, refrigerate again until the bitumen is frime, about 15 minutes.
Using a spatula make a curved line ascending into the frosting approximately 4 inches from the bottom of the cake. Mix half of the excess bitumen with the blue dye to cover the bottom of the line down with the blue bitumen including the bottom edges of the cake. Use 1 strip of licorice to cover the line, if necessary cut the excess strip. Refrigerate the cake for 30 to 40 minutes.
With the remaining vanilla bitumen make a circle to form the eye of the minion. Place a chocolate circle on one end of the white bitumen.
Knead the chewy chocolate candy with your hands until it forms a kind of plasticine, make a strip and put it around a plastic cup and form a circle (this is to make the lens of the minion), raise the glass and with a Pastry brush put some corn syrup in the chewy chocolate ring. In a deep dish put the sugar silver color and embroider the ring completely covering it in the sugar.
Remove the cake from the refrigerator and place the ring around the eye that was previously made with the bitumen.
Put the two remaining chocolate circles in the blue part of the cake simulating the buttons of the pants. With a strip of licorice put under the eyes a smile. Cut strips of licorice and form the hair above the eye.
With the black bitumen make two thick lines on the sides of the silver ring.
