12 portions
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 package cake flour
  • 1 1/3 cups Water
  • 2 tablespoons canola oil
  • 1/8 teaspoons Red food dye
  • 1/8 teaspoons yellow food color
  • 1/8 teaspoons orange food color
  • 1/8 teaspoons green food color
  • 1/8 teaspoons blue food color
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 3 egg whites
  • 1 teaspoon cream of tartar

Preheat the oven to 175 ° C. Put butter in a round pan to avoid sticking the cake.
Add the eggs, oil and water to the cake flour. Beat until there are no lumps.
Divide the mixture into six equal parts. To each one add a few drops of artificial coloring. If you do not have all the colors do not worry, you can mix the primary colors to get green, orange and purple.
It serves the mixture of each color on the mold to which you anointed the butter. Empty the mixtures in the following order; red, yellow, orange, green, blue and purple. So that the layers are well defined, place the next color at the center of the one that is already in the mold.
Bake at 175 ° C for about 30 minutes. Remove it from the oven and let it cool for 20 minutes.
Cover all the cake with white bitumen and refrigerate for 30 minutes. Remove from the refrigerator and cover with the remaining bitumen. Make sure that the bitumen is smooth.
For the bitumen: Put in a saucepan the sugar, the lemon juice and the water. Let cook without stirring or anything, taking care not to burn, until a syrup forms.
Gather the egg whites with the tablespoon of the cream of tartar and beat until they are hard. Empty little by little (while you're beating) the syrup you made previously. According to the consistency that you want the bitumen, it is the time that you must beat.
Decorate the cake with the bitumen and serve.

Put chocolate or rainbow sparks will give a special touch.
