This is a family recipe that we have inherited from generation to generation. We were a large family, so my mother prepared this cake for us at every celebration. It is an easy and quick recipe to prepare, since it is not baked, besides being very rich. I hope our family tradition enjoys it as we have done it over the years.

Ingredients

20 portions
  • 5 packages pancake, of nuts
  • 1 on cornstarch, chocolate flavour
  • 3/4 cups sweet sherry
  • 2 whipping cream, , sweetened to taste
  • 1 cup walnut, chopped

Preparation

Prepare the chocolate custard as indicated on the envelope.
On a plate place a layer of pancake and soak with the sherry; Add a layer of chocolate custard, cover with the pancake. Repeat the procedure until the ingredients are finished.
Garnish with whipped cream and nuts. Refrigerate for 30 minutes-

TIPS

The longer it is refrigerated and the bread is allowed to soak, the better flavor it will get. You can decorate with the cherries split in half.
