This delicious cake is great to share with the kids as a snack or as a delicious dessert. Vanilla cake is a very simple preparation with an incomparable flavor.

Ingredients

10 portions
  • 350 grams butter, at room temperature
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 tablespoons essence of orange
  • 2 egg yolks
  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup liquid cream, at room temperature
  • 500 grams self-raising flour, sifted

Preparation

Preheat the oven to 180º C.
To cream the butter, and to add the sugar, the extract of vanilla and the essence of mantecado; Beat for 5 minutes.
Then add the egg yolks and the whole egg, beat until everything is integrated.
After alternating the liquid milk and the flour, there will be a thick and aerated mass.
Pour the mixture into a greased and patterned mold.
Bake 25 to 30 minutes or until a stick comes out clean.

PRESENTATION

Decorate your cake with whatever you prefer to sugar glass, cinnamon, etc.

TIPS

If you can find vanilla pods, use them instead of the vanilla extract.
