Cake of 3 milks of Rompope

This homemade eggnog cake will delight you with its spongy, smooth and rich sponge cake with a subtle scent of lemon, moist in three rompope milks, decorated with whipped cream, strawberries and mint. Do not stop doing it!

Ingredients

  • 5 pieces of egg white
  • 3/4 of Cup of sugar for the clear
  • 5 pieces of yolk
  • 3/4 of Cup of sugar for the yolks
  • 1/2 Cup of milk
  • 1 teaspoonful of vanilla
  • 1 teaspoonful of lemon zest
  • 1 1/2 cups of flour
  • 1 teaspoonful of baking powder
  • 1 Cup of condensed milk for the three milks
  • 1 Cup of evaporated milk for the three milks
  • 1 Cup of whole milk for the three milks
  • 1/4 of Cup of rompope for the three milks
  • 2 cups of whipped cream
  • to taste of Strawberry to decorate
  • to taste of mint to decorate

    Preparation

    Preheat the oven to 180 ° C.
    For the cake, beat the egg whites with the nougat-like sugar.
    Beat the egg yolks with the sugar until they change color, add little by little the milk, the vanilla and the dry ingredients, with the help of a sieve.
    Add envelopes to the previous mixture.
    Pour the preparation into two cake molds, previously greased and floured, bake for 25 minutes. Let cool and reserve.
    For the three milks, mix the condensed milk, the evaporated milk, the whole milk and the eggnog.
    With the help of a fork, chop a sponge cake and pour the three milks, refrigerate for 1 hour, place whipped cream on the sponge cake, place the other sponge cake on top, chop it with a fork and with the help of a wet three-milled brush.
    Using a spatula, cover the cake with the remaining whipped cream, decorate with strawberries and mint.

    Lo hice y me quedo riquisimo. Sólo que un bizcocho lo hice de chocolate y el otro de vainilla. Pusimos relleno de nuez con durazno y nos quedó bicolor el pastel. Pero estupendo! No le puse la rayadura ni el rompope.
