If you love the traditional 3 Leches cake then you must try this Chocolate 3 Leches Cake. Enjoy this delicious bitter chocolate dessert. The secret is the frosting made with hazelnut cream, a touch that is very good with this combination. Cook this Chocolate 3 Leches Cake in an oven proof dish for your next event or for a birthday cake. You can decorate it with some chopped nuts like almond or walnut. Ingredients

8 servings
  • 3/4 of cup of flour for the cake
  • 4 tablespoons of cocoa for the cake
  • 1 teaspoon of baking soda for the cake
  • 5 eggs for the cake
  • 3/4 of cup of sugar for the cake
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla essence for the cake
  • 1 cup of evaporated milk for the 3 milks
  • 1 cup of condensed milk for the 3 milks
  • 1 cup of whipping cream for the 3 milks
  • 1/2 cup of bitter chocolate for the 3 milks
  • 1 cup of butter for the frosting
  • 2 packages of cream cheese for the frosting
  • 1 cup of Hazelnut cream for the frosting

Preparation

Preheat the oven to 180 °C. (350 °F)
For the cake, in a bowl sift the flour with the cocoa and the baking powder.
Beat the eggs until they change color and add the sugar little by little. Continue beating until thickening. Integrate the vanilla.
Add the powders and mix in an folding way so as not to flatten the mixture too much.
Pour into a oven proof dish, previously greased and sprinkled with cocoa, bake for 25 minutes and let cool.
For the 3 milks, heat the evaporated milk with the condensed milk, the whipping cream and the bitter chocolate until it dissolves completely. Remove from heat and let cool.
With a fork, perforate the surface of the cake and pour the three milks little by little so that it is absorbed. Refrigerate at least one hour.
For the chocolate frosting, beat the butter with the cream cheese until softened and add the hazelnut cream. Place in a pastry bag with curly tip.
Decorate the cake making flowers with the frosting.
Cut a slice and enjoy

Decorate with chocolate cream.

Soak the cake constantly so it is very moist.
