Tres Leches Birthday Cake

This traditional three-milk cake is a favorite when it comes to celebrating a birthday for its spongy and moist consistency, in addition to its delicious vanilla flavor. This pastry recipe also includes a Chantilly® Cream filling, so that this cake is a success in any family celebration.

Ingredients

12 servings
  • 8 eggs for the cake
  • 1 1/4 cups of sugar for the cake
  • 2 teaspoons of vanilla essence for the cake
  • 1/2 Cup of milk for the cake
  • 1 tablespoon of lemon zest for the cake
  • 1/4 of Cup of Butter melted, for the cake
  • 2 1/2 cups of flour for the cake
  • 2 teaspoons of baking powder for the cake
  • 1/2 Cup of sparks of colors for the cake
  • 4 cups of three milk syrup Chantilly® (1 liter)
  • 500 milliliters of Top Cream Chantilly® vanilla flavor (1 liter)
  • enough of sparks of colors to sprinkle
  • enough of sparks of colors to decorate

    Preparation

    Preheat the oven to 170 ° C.
    Beat the eggs with the sugar until they are bleached, add the vanilla essence, gradually add the milk, the lemon zest and the butter.
    With the help of a strainer, gradually add the flour alternating with the baking powder and integrate in an enveloping manner so as not to lower the mixture; Finally, add the colored sparks.
    Pour into a mold 20 cm in diameter by 10 cm high with baking paper and bake for 45 minutes. Let cool and reserve.
    Cut the cake into three pieces on a board. Reservation.
    Place the biscuits on a rack and pour the three milk syrup Chantilly®; Allow it to absorb, refrigerate 20 minutes and reserve.
    In a medium speed blender, beat Chantilly® Vanilla Top cream until it doubles in volume and the cream is firm. Place in a pastry and reserve sleeve.
    Place a cake on a cake base, add cream and sprinkle with sprinkles of colors; then repeat the process until the three floors are finished.
    Cover the cake with the rest of the cream and with the help of a stepped spatula, flatten to obtain a perfect finish.
    Decorate forming rosettes on top and sprinkle colored sparks around the cake.
    Refrigerate for 2 hours, cut a slice and serve.

    PRESENTATION

    On a cake plate, decorated with colored sprinkles and accompanied by a glass of milk.

    TIPS

    It is important to let the moist biscuits cool to prolong their preservation. Top cream Chantilly® vanilla flavor is ideal to cover your cakes, due to the stability of the cream.
