Tres Leches Cake with Coffee Liqueur

Making a homemade coffee cake is a great way to pamper yourself. With a soft cake made with hot cakes flour, this three milk cake is perfect to celebrate a birthday or any other special occasion. This popular dessert is not complicated to make and as a tip, we recommend you not to open the oven while cooking it.

Ingredients

10 portions
  • 1 cup vegetal oil, for the cake
  • 1 cup sugar, for the cake
  • 5 eggs, for the cake
  • 2 1/2 cups pancake flour, for the cake
  • 1 cup milk, for the cake
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda, for the cake
  • 1 cup condensed milk, for the three milks
  • 1 cup evaporated milk, for the three milks
  • 1 1/2 cups whole milk, for the three milks
  • 1 raja cinnamon, for the three milks
  • 1 tablespoon instant coffee, for the three milks
  • 3 tablespoons coffee liqueur, for the three milks
  • enough whipped cream, to decorate
  • enough bitter chocolate, grated, to decorate

Preparation

Preheat the oven to 170 ° C.
In a blender, mix the oil, sugar, eggs, hot cakes, milk and baking powder.
Pour the mixture into a rectangular mold, previously floured and greased. Bake for 30 minutes.
For all three milks: heat the condensed milk, evaporated milk, whole milk, cinnamon and soluble coffee in a pot. Mix them until fully integrated, then remove from heat and add the coffee liquor. Let cool and reserve.
With the help of a fork, chop the cake and pour the milk little by little to absorb it. Refrigerate for 30 minutes.
Spread the whipped cream on the cake, decorate with bitter chocolate, cut a slice and enjoy.

PRESENTATION

Serve on a plate and accompany with coffee.

TIPS

We suggest you not open the door of your oven while the cake is baking to prevent it from coming down.
