Ingredients

15 portions
  • 2 kilos sweet potato, cooked and peeled
  • 1 1/2 kilos sugar
  • 2 cups Water
  • 1/2 teaspoons liquid vanilla
  • corn syrup

Preparation

Put the sugar on the fire with the water, at the moment when it has a hard ball point, add the sweet potato and the vanilla to boil until it forms a paste.
Beat until cool. Form the sweet potatoes and place them on a tray lined with waxed paper and let them rest for a day. Varnish them with honey, let them dry perfectly and wrap them in Chinese paper or waxed.
