Ingredients

10 portions
  • 400 grams rice flour
  • 100 grams wheat flour
  • 2 tablespoons baking soda
  • 250 grams butter
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla essence
  • 100 grams raisin
  • 3 eggs

Preparation

Mix the flours with the baking powder.
Add the butter with the sugar and vanilla and add the eggs one by one while continuing to beat.
Add the mixture of the sifted flour and the raisins and mix in an enveloping form to obtain a homogenous club.
Form the tamales by placing a little of the dough on each sheet of corn (depending on the size you want) wrap and place a steamer or tamalera. Cook for an hour or until the tamales are easily removed from the leaf.

TIPS

You can substitute cinnamon vanilla or raisins for chocolate chips.

Hoy hice ésta receta de tamales canarios. y quedaron SECOS.. creo que sí les hace falta huevo o algún otro líquido que los hidrate. Son pocos huevos para la cantidad de harina que dice la receta.
