Ingredients

  • 100 grams Integral Great Value® Oatmeal Old Fashioned Oasts
  • 2 cups wheat flour Great Value®
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons baking soda
  • 3 teaspoons cinnamon powder
  • 1/8 teaspoons Great Value® salt
  • 2 teaspoons powdered ginger
  • 2 teaspoons nutmeg
  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon liquid vanilla
  • 1/4 cups Great Value® Refined Sugar
  • 120 milliliters Great Value® honey
  • 2 carrots, grated
  • 2 cups Great Value® Powder Sugar, for glass
  • 2 tablespoons Great Value® whole milk, for glass
  • 1 Great Value® cream cheese, for glass
  • 1 teaspoon liquid vanilla
  • 1/2 cups Great Value® walnut, finely chopped
  • to taste fondant, in the shape of a carrot, to decorate

Preparation

Preheat the oven to 180 ° C.
In a bowl mix the oats, flour, baking powder, cinnamon powder, salt, ginger powder and nutmeg.
Add the derredita butter, the egg, the vanilla essence, the sugar, the honey and the grated carrot. Mix until you get a masita.
With the help of a spoon, form the cookies on a baking tray with waxed paper. Freeze for 30 minutes.
Remove from freezing and bake for 12 minutes or until firm. Chill cookies and reserve.
For the glaze, in a bowl mix the sugar with the milk, the cream cheese and the vanilla essence until the ingredients are incorporated and you have a smooth mixture.
Cover the cookies with the glaze and sprinkle with chopped nuts. Decorate with the fondant carrots and enjoy.
