This cake recipe is an original and simple dessert to make. This grape cake is a combination of sweet flavors with an acid and salty touch, which also combines the textures of cheese, fruit and crust of the cake. Ingredients

8 portions
  • 1 1/2 cups flour
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 cup butter, cut into small cubes
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 cups curd
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 1/2 cups whipped cream
  • grapes, cut in half
  • enough honey, to varnish

Preparation

For the dough, mix the flour with the salt and sugar, gradually add the butter and continue mixing until a sandy texture forms; add the egg and vanilla extract, mix until integrated. Spread the dough and place it in a cake pan previously greased and floured.
Bake at 180 ° C for 25 minutes, cool and reserve.
For the filling, beat the cottage cheese with the honey; add the whipped cream, mix until incorporated. Reservation.
Form the cake with the previously baked base, fill with the cream and place the grapes in a circular shape, varnish with honey.
Serve and enjoy.

PRESENTATION

Decorate with the fruit and some honey, as a shine.

TIPS

When you make the dough, do not overwork it and before baking the cake, cool it. Add vanilla to whipped cream for a touch of flavor.
