Ingredients

10 servings
  • 3/4 of Cup of unsalted butter at room temperature
  • 3/4 of Cup of cocoa powder
  • 3/4 of Cup of flour
  • 1/2 teaspoonful of baking powder
  • 1/4 of teaspoonful of Salt
  • 1 Cup of sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 teaspoonful of vanilla extract
  • 1/2 Cup of sour cream
  • 4 ounces of bittersweet chocolate
  • 1/2 Cup of whipping cream

    Preparation

    Preheat the oven to 180 degrees.
    Grease and flour a round cake pan.
    Mix flour, cocoa, baking powder and salt in a bowl.
    With an electric mixer at medium-high speed beat the butter and 1 cup of sugar until fluffy and clear.
    Add the eggs one at a time.
    Add the vanilla extract.
    Reduce the speed of the blender to low, and add the flour in two parts, alternating with the sour cream. Starting and ending with flour.
    Put the mixture in the greased cake mold and bake for 30-35 minutes.
    Let cool for 10 minutes and unmold.
    Prepare the glaze: put the whipping cream in a saucepan and boil. Put the chocolate in a medium bowl. When the cream boils, add it to the chocolate and stir. Let thicken 2-3 minutes.
    Place the cake on a rack and cover with the chocolate glaze.
    Serve the chocolate with whipped cream.
