Cook an original Chocolate Cake with Crepes without Oven. This rich dessert is very creamy and fluffy, since between each crepe there is a layer of chocolate cream. The presentation is amazing since you can see the difference of textures and colors.

Ingredients

8 portions
  • 2 cups milk, for crepes
  • 1 cup flour, for crepes
  • 1/4 cups butter, melted, for crepes
  • 2 eggs, for crepes
  • 1/8 cups sugar, for crepes
  • 1 teaspoon liquid vanilla, for crepes
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon, for crepes
  • 3 cups whipping cream, for the filling
  • 1/4 cups cocoa, for the filling
  • 1/4 cups powdered sugar, for the filling
  • 300 grams bitter chocolate, for baking, in pieces, for coverage
  • 1/2 cups butter, melted, for coverage
  • 1/2 cups whipping cream, for coverage
  • 1 cup cocoa, for coverage
  • to taste truffles, to decorate

Preparation

In a bowl mix all the ingredients of the crepes to form a homogeneous mixture.
Heat a pan over medium heat and form crepes until you get the desired number of crepes for the cake layers. Reservation.
In a bowl beat the cream until it doubles its volume, add the cocoa and the sugar, beat until you get a homogeneous mixture.
In a bowl add dark chocolate with butter and whipping cream, melt in a bain-marie, reserve.
In a tray place a base crepe, spread a layer of chocolate whipped cream. Repeat until forming several layers. Place the crepe cake on a grid and a tray, cover the ganache with chocolate and mix. Refrigerate until the cover is cold, place the decoration truffles and sprinkle all the cocoa cake until it is completely covered. Cut a slice, serve and enjoy.

PRESENTATION

Decorate the cake with chocolate truffles and sprinkle with lots of cocoa to make it look soft like velvet.

TIPS

Add the chocolate coating when it is at room temperature so that it does not melt the whipped cream. You can put your cake in a hoop and it will be much easier.
