Preparation
Heat the water in a pot over medium heat, add the sugar and cook over low heat until it forms a syrup with a soft ball point (116 ° C).
Add the cream of tartar, remove the mixture from the fire add the peanuts and the vanilla essence, mix.
Add the egg white, return to the fire and cook on low heat for 5 minutes. Chill
Place the previous preparation on a table covered with non-stick plastic, mix with the icing sugar to form the marzipan. Cover with plastic and form a 4 cm thick plate. Cut with a small round ring. Reservation.
Dip the marzipan in the melted chocolate. Let dry on a rack and refrigerate 10 minutes.
