Prepare this easy dessert recipe, a delicious Chocolate Rolls Cake. The Choco-roles are rolls of chocolate cake filled with pineapple and cream, what better than a dessert with thousands of them? Ingredients

10 servings
  • 4 cups of whipping cream for the white chocolate mousse
  • 1/4 of cup of White chocolate for the white chocolate mousse
  • 1 1/2 cups of bitter chocolates for the bitter chocolate mousse
  • 10 cream filled Choco-Roles cakes
  • 1 cup of whipped cream to decorate
  • 2 tablespoons of cocoa to decorate

Preparation

Heat the whipping cream in the microwave for 30 seconds, separate ¼ of the cream and add the white chocolate, mix until integrated. Refrigerate and reserve.
Add the bitter chocolate to the remaining 3/4 cream and mix until integrated. Refrigerate and reserve.
Cut the chocolate Swiss rolls into 1 cm (.39 inch) thick slices. Set aside.
Beat the white chocolate cream until it doubles its volume.
Beat the bitter chocolate cream until it doubles its volume.
Place plastic wrap on a bowl and arrange the chocolate swiss rolls slices all over the surface until completely covered. Add a thin layer of white chocolate mousse and then fill with the bitter chocolate. Smooth well well and refrigerate 2 hours or until set.
Meanwhile, add the cocoa to half the whipped cream and mix. Pour the two creams into a pastry bag with a curl tip and reserve.
Invert the cake and decorate with two-color whipped cream. Serve very cold.

PRESENTATION

On a round serving platter, decorated with double chocolate cream.

TIPS

Due to the large amount of fat contained in the white chocolate, it can curdle when beating it if this happens to you, you only have to add 2 tablespoons of melted butter to integrate the fat again. The plastic wrap will help you unmold the cake.
