Ingredients

35 servings
  • 2 cups of flour sifted
  • 1/2 Cup of date sliced
  • 3/4 of Cup of Butter melted
  • 2 cups of raw sugar
  • 1 Cup of sugar
  • 3 pieces of egg
  • 1 tablespoon of vanilla extract
  • 6 spoonfuls of cocoa powder
  • 1/2 Cup of shredded coconut

    Preparation

    Preheat the oven to 170 ° C.
    In a small bowl place 2 tablespoons, add the dates and mix so that the dates are covered in flour. Reserve.
    In a large bowl, with the mixer on low speed, mix butter, the 2 types of sugar, eggs and vanilla extract until they are incorporated. Reserve.
    Add the cocoa powder to the remaining flour and add to the sugar mixture, taking care to clean the edges well.
    With enveloping movements, add the dates and the grated coconut.
    Pour the mixture into a greased mold approximately 25 x 38 cm.
    Bake for 20 - 25 minutes.
    Remove from oven and let cool.
    Cut into squares of approximately 5 cm.
