Ingredients

8 portions
  • 12 egg yolks
  • 120 grams sugar
  • 120 grams butter
  • 8 egg whites
  • 120 grams sugar
  • 10 grams instant coffee
  • 120 grams flour, sifted
  • 40 grams cocoa
  • 2 teaspoons cornstarch
  • 650 grams nutella
  • 250 grams chocolate, for confectionery
  • 200 grams almond, chopped
  • artificial food coloring, golden, aerosol (optional)

Preparation

Preheat the oven to 200 ° C.
Assemble a French meringue, beat the first sugar and clear them, reserve.
Beat yolks and the second sugar to the point of ribbon.
Add to the yolks and sugar, warm butter and incorporate very well.
Incorporate flour, cocoa and coffee very well into the previous mixture.
Mix carefully the two mixtures.
Cook at 200 ° C for approximately 30-40 minutes.
Once the cake is warm, it begins to crumble and mix with nutella, until it forms a dough, it is given a round shape and it is put in the freezer for 30 minutes to 1 hour.
Since the cake is cold and does not separate easily, it is covered with the chopped almonds, pressing lightly to incorporate the almond.
In a bain-marie chocolate melts incorporating corn starch.
With the melted chocolate, cover the cake and let it cool until the chocolate hardens.
(optional) Decorate with the spray coloring and you're done.

PRESENTATION

This cake is decorated with the spray and a brown cardboard, pretending to be the wrapper of being a chocolate ferrero rocher.
