This is a rich recipe, easy to prepare and why not, largely healthy. Chocoquitos are a good dessert option since they provide the sweet touch that is normally sought after a meal, but it does not leave you full or heavy, on the contrary, they are light and leave a good taste in your mouth. You can also eat them as a snack in the afternoon. The only drawback is that they can become addictive.

Ingredients

10 portions
  • 1 cup grated coconut
  • 4 tablespoons coconut oil
  • 2 tablespoons Water
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 3/4 cups bitter chocolate, , cast in a water bath

Preparation

Place the grated coconut in a bowl and add the coconut oil, water and salt little by little. Refrigerate 10 to 15 minutes or until firm.
Form pellets and freeze for 15 to 20 minutes; bathe with chocolate and refrigerate until the chocolate has hardened.

TIPS

If you wish, you can add a bit of grated coconut to decorate. If the coconut does not have sugar you can add 1 or 2 tablespoons of agave honey.
