These Cookies Christmas Delights with Butter and Nut are perfect to enjoy in Christmas season and any other time of the year.

10 portions
  • 250 grams sifted flour
  • 125 grams sugar
  • 3 egg yolks
  • 100 grams butter
  • 1/4 glasses milk
  • 1/2 tablespoons royal baking powder
  • walnuts, to taste, finely chopped

The flour should be sifted to be as thin as possible along with the royal.
After this we add the sugar.
In another bowl add the butter with the blender until it sponges and add the previous ingredients.
To finish our mix add the egg yolks and milk to continue beating, when this is a homogeneous mixture add the nuts and begin to knead until we achieve that it does not stick in our hands.
We wrap it in plastic for food and put it for 1/2 hour in the freezer.
We remove our dough and spread it on a flat and floured surface, leaving it with an approximate thickness of 1/2 cm.
Since the dough is extended, choose the counters of your preference to shape the cookies and place them in a tray, it is not necessary to grease the high content of butter in the dough and bake 15 to 20 minutes or until they take a color golden at 180 ºC.
The vanilla bitumen heat it to a bain-marie and separate it in 3 containers, one to leave it white, to the others put a few drops of red and green edible vegetable dye.
Since the biscuits are soaking one of the faces in the white bitumen and put back in the trays to let dry for 10 minutes and place the almost liquid colored bitumen in plastic bags and cut the pint very small to decorate on the white bitumen , let it dry 10 more minutes and enjoy.

Place in a tray and put to the center of the table.
